To start off my spring break, I was pretty bored at first so I searched for origami templates to make and I happened to find a template for a cat. It was easy to make him and he was really small, my friends and I decided to name him Mcgee the Cat. I plan on making him a top hat soon. After I finished making Mcgee I got bored again and I wanted to go out just for a little walk. I remembered I needed iTunes money so I asked my mom if I could walk to the Walgreens near our house. My mom is pretty overprotective and she doesn't let me walk by myself unless my brother comes with me. I asked my brother if he wanted to go and he said no because he was busy with his video game. I managed to convince my mom that I would be okay and finally she let me walk by myself. It was pretty nice and it felt good to have that freedom, it took like 20 minutes for me to get back home but once I entered Walgreens I noticed that they had a bunch of cute stuffed animals. I decided to buy one and once I came home I hung the plushie on a hook that was connected to my ceiling. I often bump my head on it when I wake up but it's fine since it doesn't hurt.

On Saturday, my mom decided to take our family to the Aquarium of the Pacific! It's been a couple years since I last visited so I was pretty excited. I saw a bunch of cute animals and since I am taking marine science this year it was super fun to see the animals that I've been learning about in person. Seeing the moon jellies (the ones in the blue light) was super cool, did you know that they have four stomachs? I also saw sand dollars and some frogs. Some of the frogs were blue, yellow, and red. Some of them were so tiny it was hard to spot them at first. Then I saw an axolotl, I thought they were adorable but my mom didn't like them so much, she said they looked weird. We then went to the upstair exhibits and saw some seals. Three of them were taking a nap, the one laying down sideways was named Kaya! She was the youngest out of all the seals, she was about 4 years old. The upstair exhibits also had these adorable stingrays, they loved being petted and they loved my dad! What was cool was that once we passed by their aquarium again, that same stingray recognized my dad and followed him around the tank! Anyway, that concludes my spring break, it was a lot of fun.
